Jarrard, Nowell & Russell Names Kimy Sexton Staff Accountant

Charleston, S.C. –Jarrard, Nowell & Russell, LLC, a Charleston-based certified public accounting and business advisory firm, has named Ai Kim (Kimy) Sexton as staff accountant.

Sexton joined the firm in 2013 as an intern. She previously served as an accountant for VP Management, LLC, in Princeton, West Virginia, and has also served as a seasonal tax preparer for H&R Block. A native of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) in Vietnam, Sexton acted as finance manager for APL Vietnam, LTD, an affiliate of APL NOL Worldwide, prior to coming to the United States. Sexton holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from the University of Finance and Accounting in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and a bachelor’s degree in business law from the University of Law, also located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Sexton is an Enrolled Agent and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the U.K.
