Hurricane Matthew Information Update

The South Carolina Association of CPAs is working with the IRS and the South Carolina Department of Revenue to provide you timely information in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew.

Governor Haley has requested the President issue an expedited Major Disaster Declaration for 13 counties. The number of counties could increase depending on findings as emergency officials continue to tour the State.

Today, Oct. 10, is a Federal Holiday so it will likely be sometime tomorrow or early Wednesday before we receive any news about the Declaration.
