Jarrard, Nowell & Russell Names Cristina Bumgartner Staff Accountant

Charleston, S.C. –Jarrard, Nowell & Russell, LLC, a Charleston-based certified public accounting and business advisory firm, has added Cristina A. Bumgartner as staff accountant.

 As staff accountant, Bumgartner prepares corporate, estate, partnership, and individual income tax returns, along with internal and external financial statements, and is responsible for monthly and quarterly bookkeeping. Bumgartner holds prior experience as a staff accountant at Hood & Selander, CPAs, LLC, and as an accounting manager at Avocet Properties in Charleston. She also worked as a legislative director at Ervin Technical Associates, Inc., a boutique lobbying firm in Washington, D.C., after graduation. Bumgartner earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Bachelor of Arts degree in corporate communication at the College of Charleston. She is currently preparing to sit for the CPA exam, and has already taken and passed the first of four parts.
